Re: Train stations in Como. The trick is, there are two completely separate train lines from Milan to Como. One is the Trenitalia line, and its Como station is San Giovanni ("Como S. G."). Como has a bus station over the road from Como Nord Lago station, near the waterfront. You can buy tickets and get timetable information here, though note that some buses stop a short distance away.
