From that time on I use the 7D in good light when reach-limited, and the 1D IV for everything else. It was a great combo, and the 1D IV remained my most-used camera for many years - not just for birding, I loved using it for landscapes too. Until recently I used a Sandisk Extreme 32GB CF card (60MB/s) without problems. Last week I bought a Sandisk Extreme Pro 64GB SD card (95MB/s) and the only thing I get is a camera failure: 'Card2 cannot be accessed. Reinsert/change the card or format with camera'. .
